These developments include the first ever bike-specific backpack, The Bike 1 in 1990. Under it's SL label deuter also designs womens specific backpacks, tailored to the female anatomy. The deuter bike backpack range has expanded over more than 30 years and for 2023 that expertise is turned to additional cycling disciplines with a range of on-bike luggage solutions for cycle tourists and bikepackers.
