Hope Technology Components

Hope Technology is one of the world leaders in engineering bicycle components. Since 1989, owners Ian Weatherill and Simon Sharp have been pushing the industry forward through designing, testing and manufacturing virtually all products in-house at the factory in Barnoldswick, United Kingdom.

Local legends in these parts (and well beyond these shores, too) they started by making disc brakes for their mountain bikes when they were winter training for trials riding on their motorbikes. Now they make CAD designed, CNC machined aluminium components for most parts on your bike. Recently they have started manufacturing in carbon and have applied the same attention to detail to these parts. Have you seen their GB Cycling frame on the velodrome? Keep an eye out for them at the Olympics. They really are that good.
